Who we are
Fumed Legume Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (No. 16208622). Our registered office is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, and we work from Sheffield. We are the controller of the personal information described on this page. You can contact us at hello@fumedlegume.co.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, business name, the kind and size of your business, and whatever you write in your message. If you email us, we keep your email address and what you send. When you visit the site, our analytics tools collect information about how you use it, such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and the type of device and browser you use.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out an audit if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our conversations. Our legal basis is that this is needed to respond to you and to take steps at your request before a contract (and, once you are a client, to carry out that contract), and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We use analytics only if you agree to it. We do not use your details for automated decisions about you, and we do not sell them.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the site and the business. Framer hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Google provides our email (Gmail), which holds the messages sent to hello@fumedlegume.co, and our website analytics, if you agree to it. Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, we rely on safeguards such as the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, as appropriate. If we ever work with your business data as part of an audit or build, we will explain which tools see it before anything is set up.
How long we keep it
If you send an enquiry and no work follows, we delete your details after 12 months. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards, to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, or ask for it in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent to analytics at any time. To do any of this, email hello@fumedlegume.co. We will reply within one month.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, so we can improve it. It sets cookies on your device only if you agree when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site cookies in your browser or using the cookie settings link, if shown. The site does not use advertising cookies.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at hello@fumedlegume.co so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
